I worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant in the anthropology department at Loyola University Chicago for the fall 2021 semester. I assisted 160 students in ANTH 106: Sex, Science and Anthropological Inquiry, taught by Dr. Paula Skye Tallman. My duties included facilitating communication and discussions with students about class material, holding office hours twice a week and collaborating with Dr. Tallman on lecture and exam content.
Dr. Tallman also invited me to give a guest lecture based on research I previously conducted for another anthropology class. My classroom evaluation for my lecture, "Colonialism, Globalization and Public Health: Effects of Colonialism and Globalization on the HIV/AIDS Epidemic Among LGBTQ+ People and Sex Workers in Southeast Asia," is below.
